Export Stash installs from the BigCommerce App Marketplace and needs no developer setup, API keys or code. The whole process takes a couple of minutes, and your 14-day free trial starts the moment the app opens.
Installing the app
- Open the Export Stash listing on the BigCommerce App Marketplace and click Get This App.
- Sign in to your BigCommerce store if you aren't already, then confirm the permissions Export Stash requests. It needs read access to your catalogue and orders so it can export them, and write access if you plan to import products.
- BigCommerce redirects you to the Export Stash dashboard. That's the installation done — there is nothing to configure in your store settings.
Your first export
From the dashboard, click Create Profile. A profile is a saved recipe for one export: what data to pull, which fields to include, what file format to produce, and where to send it. You'll work through a short wizard:
- Choose what to export — products, orders, inventory, customers, product reviews, a customized report, or a marketing data feed.
- Choose your fields — see choosing which fields to export.
- Choose a destination and file type — see export methods.
Run the profile once to check the output looks right, then put it on a schedule so it runs without you.
Importing products instead
If you came to Export Stash to load a supplier spreadsheet into your catalogue rather than to export, start at [link: Importing products into BigCommerce from a CSV]. Import is a separate flow with its own dashboard and its own pay-as-you-go pricing.
